To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the House of Dior, the Musée des Arts décoratifs orchestrates a wonderful exhibition about Christian Dior (1905-1957), the house designer.
From 5 July 2017 to 7 January 2018, this huge restrospective features more than 400 dresses.

Go back in time at the gallant Square Louis-XIII. Sitting at the foot of the equestrian statue of this king of France, you are at the heart of the Place des Vosges, one of the oldest squares in Paris.
For a royal picnic, meet up in the Jardin des Tuileries. Designed by André Le Nôtre, the Tuileries gardens are a fine example of elegant French design, with symmetrical paths in gravel and beautiful pruned rows of trees. The big lawns are ideal for picnicking and offer fine views of the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d’Orsay and the Champs-Élysées. If like panoramic views, don’t miss the Jardin du Champ-de-Mars, below the Eiffel Tower. As well as being one of the biggest green areas in Paris, it offers lovely vistas of several major attractions: the Eiffel Tower, of course, but also Trocadéro and the Ecole militaire.
A favourite place of lovebirds, the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont provides a romantic setting for a picnic, with a waterfall, grotto, look-out point, and ancient trees …
An event established over ten years ago, on the third Saturday in May French museums open their doors to visitors for free, staying open late into the evening.
During this one special night, you can visit or revisit the top museums in the French capital, such as the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, or Centre Pompidou, or be surprised by the Arts and Metiers Museum, the Decorative Arts Museum or the Palais de la Découverte (Palace of Discovery)
The Palais Galliera pays homage to Dalida with an exhibition of her wardrobe, which was recently donated to the museum by her brother Orlando. Dressed by the greatest designers both on and off-stage, in haute couture or in prêt-à-porter,Dalida has remained an immensely popular star. Her wardrobe always followed the movements of fashion, but it also reflected her artistic development.
